Nothing really singularly wonderful happened but it was just all good. Today was the first day that I didn't entirely feel like a fish out of water at work and I also broke with tradition and, instead of the usual Wednesday roast, tried the macoroni cheese at lunchtime. It was ok but not a patch on the one that Pops makes!
Then there was more catching up with stuff at home and finishing the day with a nice cup of tea, a slice (or two) of wonderful Betty's stollen (thank you Kevin) and the second part of The Mystery of Edwin Drood :-)
Got some nice pictures (although they really don't do it justice) of the sunrise this morning!
