For a change ;-)
So, it's really very simple and it's my ultimate, favourite, comfort food!
Chop and onion and lighty fry, add a pack of mince and brown (chop with the spoon!) then add at least a pint of fairly thickish gravy and some mixed herbs, salt and pepper. Leave to simmer for an hour (so the mince is lovely and tender - mmmmm - adding more gravy if required) and in the meantime boil chunks of potato and carrot and throw them in to the mince 10 minutes before it's ready. Pour into a big bowl, grab a spoon and tuck in!
After a very cold and frosty walk to Aunty Betty's and back I felt I'd well and truly earnt it!
